Special Education Assessment Team (SEAT)

SEAT is a team of special education teachers and specialists who complete special education assessments following referral from the Problem Solving Team (PST) after interventions have been unsuccessful.  Interventions are put in place for students who are struggling academically, behaviorally or socially.  If these interventions prove to be unsuccessful, SEAT may do an assessment to determine if there is a disability present which is impeding the student's ability to learn.

Members of the SEAT Team Include:

Amanda Wilson, School Psychologist
Kathryn Ralston, Assessment Coordinator
Aimee Veenker, Occupational Therapist
Heather Wachal, Speech/Language Pathologist
Becky Kolander, Speech/Language Pathologist
Betty Smith, Special Education Secretary

SEAT meets every Wednesday from 1:00 to 2:00 PM in Student Services.

Please feel free to contact any team members with concerns about your child's educational programming.  We are here to help.
