SAFE and SUPPORTIVE SCHOOLS

The Windom School District believes in a positive, safe and supportive school system.  District wide you will notice our emphasis on positive behavior through PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports).  PBIS emphasis is on on having high expectations for all students, but more important is that we catch and reward students making positive choices throughout the year.

This past year the Legislature and Governor signed into law the Safe and Support Schools Act.  This new law defines, guides and directs schools on bullying prohibition.  Windom Schools has had no tolerance for bullying and with this new law it has created a new emphasis and supports to communicate expectations and procedures with parents and students.

To report bullying incidents either report directly to the building principal or use the form (link below: To Report Bullying) and deliver to the building principal.
